SOCW 4358 - Evidence-Based Practice

Credits: 3
This course builds on the SOCW 3300 - Social Work Research Methods  course. It focuses on the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods to improve social work practice, policy, and service delivery for clients and constituencies. An overview of the use, capabilities, implementation, ethical, and legal concerns, and limitations of computer technology in social work practice. The student will conceptualize, design, and carry out an evidence base practice- relevant research project.
