Jarvis Christian University Renaissance Adult and Continuing Education Program

The Renaissance Program affords adult learners an opportunity to earn an associate’s degree in religion, criminal justice or general studies and a bachelor’s degree in religion, business or criminal justice. We offer a well-designed curriculum, academic support services, and a flexible course schedule to accommodate the needs of working adults. You can earn a degree in three (3) years. Students have the option of taking classes on campus or the Dallas Teaching Site.

Transfer and re-entry students should meet the following criteria to be accepted in the Adult Education Program:

  • Should be 21 years or older or have an associate’s degree
  • Should have at least 45-60 transferable credit hours.
  • Should be in good academic standings.

Students who do not meet the above criteria will be reviewed for admission on an individual basis by the Vice President of Academic Affairs with the Dean of the Program. 

Policy

Students entering the Jarvis Renaissance Program - Adult Education (JRP-AE) will follow the admissions criteria of all students entering Jarvis Christian University.

Exceptions:

  • Application fee will be billed to the student’s account
  • Exemption of physical education, chapel and first-year experience requirements

As with traditional students who are admitted to Jarvis Christian University, students with incomplete files will be admitted provisionally and will be given a designated time to have all documents in before being purged from the college system.

  • Cybersecurity - Forensics
    Note: Additional certifications may be available

Admission Process:

  • Complete Online Certification Application
  • Submit Certification Fee - $600
    One-time fee includes 8-week instruction, class materials and certification exam
