MATH 2342 - Intro to Statistics, Data Mining and Analytics Credits: 3 Students collect, organize, analyze, represent, and draw conclusions about data sets using various methods of analysis and a variety of software packages. Methods of analysis include central tendency, variability, probability distribution, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing. The student experience will culminate in a data mining project that solves a real-world problem.
Prerequisite: COSC 1300 and MATH 1314
