COSC 1300 - Introduction to Computer Information Systems/Data Science

Credits: 3
This introductory course presents students with fundamental principles of computing and data science. Students will be introduced to third-party word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software along with database accessing and manipulating techniques. It includes industry standard processes, procedures, and algorithmic methods utilized in a data-analytic thinking environment.
